Big Data Solution Architect - Define overall technical architecture of Big Data platforms and set up required infrastructure. Design, develop and deploy Big Data solutions. Design, develop and install large scale cluster data processing systems. Design, develop and implement Hadoop framework. Ensure Big Data solution integrates with client’s existing Data warehouse and BI systems. Assess readiness of technical environment to implement architecture. Propose, recommend or facilitate selection of appropriate tools, techniques and resources for all technical components of Big Data solution. Monitor database, performance tune and troubleshoot Hadoop clusters, resolve issues, provided technical support.
***REQUIREMENTS - Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, any Engineering or related fields plus 2 years experience in design and development of Big Data solutions or data architecture required. Must have demonstrated experience in Hadoop, Spark, DB2. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated sites in U.S. required.
